I purchased my car one year ago for $14,000 and currently owe $9,000. I see another car in my area that is exactly like mine that is being sold for $9,999. The insurance adjuster is only allowing me $6,500.

There is no question in your post. It's just a statement.
What you see is a selling price, not a value (sold price). How did the adjuster arrive at $6500? Is his/her information on your vehicle correct?
Is this a 1st party claim and is that amount after your deductible?
I'm guessing from that purchase price that you may have rolled another loan into this one. |
