| You really need to call your agent and let that person know what the situation is (work, friend, who drives, etc). They can help you make the correct decision on what to do. |

If your friend drives your car, then you need to add his name in the drivers’ list in your auto policy. Contact your insurance company and tell them about your need. Your insurer will add his name under your policy.

Ask your friend about his driving record before you add him. If he has any tickets or accidents, contact your agent and inquire about the cost to add him. You may decide you no longer want him driving your car on a regular basis.
