I have the same Ins.co. as the guy that hit me and I have alot of med.bills and can't work for long time.It sounds like they are trying to get out of paying for if anything. They already been calling my parents asking questions about me that I have not been asked and make it sound like they don't know anything bout the other drivers Ins..Tell my mom what my limits and ask for more Ins. info. I'm in my twentys and on my own.Is this normal, and if not, what can I do HELP!

Both the parties are covered by the same company and both parties are being questioned about the accident. Your claims handler is looking into the at-fault party’s case while his handler is looking into you and therefore all the questions about the stuff they apparently already know. They are not trying to get out of paying the bills, probably just trying to verify all the information they have on each of you.

This is probably correct. But in some cases, the insurance company is unfairly delaying the determination of liability, since it owns that either way. If it has been more than 40 days since the accident, you should file a complaint with your state's dept of insurance -- most state laws impose that as the time limit for determining liability. If they cannot do so, they must inform you in writing concerning the delay and tell you how much more time they need.
