Contact your insurance agent. Many insurance companies will allow you to reduce your coverage to comprehensive coverage only, covering theft, fire, etc. which is usually inexpensive. This keeps your policy active, at a small price, for a car not being used.
If your car is still financed, you may have to keep Collision, too, to keep the bank happy. _________________ You can save $100s on car & home insurance, but you have to shop to find the company saving you money. | As Robert742 mentions, you can reduce your coverage just to comprehensive coverage and reduce your cost. If you car is going to be garaged for the next few months or all through the winter. However, it will not cover any collision damage which is quiet necessary. |
