was rearended at an interection. This accident occurred in Florida which is a nofault state. Can his medical bills be included in the claim? the damage to the rear end is paid out of the no fault or the other driver's coverage?

Will my policy cost rise as a result of this reported no fault claim?

Thank you.

Only for injuries and this does not mean the other person cannot collect for an injury.

I'm confused as your opening statement appears to indicate that your were rear ended. Why would the other person's medical bills be claimed?

the damage to the rear end is paid out of the no fault or the other driver's coverage?

No

Okay, I think I understand... the other person is at fault and you are wondering if your PIP is going to pay for his injuries. No. His own PIP will address his injuries. If you only file a claim under your PIP for your injuries your rates cannot be increased.

Okay... I think you attempted to put info in the subject line and, of course, it's cut off.

You want to know if the person driving your car can claim under your PIP. But if he owns a vehicle or lives with a relative that has PIP then that PIP is primary and he does not collect from yours. You insurance cannot be increase for any PIP claim filed under it.
