i got in to an accident the other day i was paraelle parking i was in the parking spot in wilmington de on a one way st and as i was about to put the car in park a car hit my right side of my rear bumper causing damage to my bumper and damage to the left side front of her car but she tried to say it was my fault who fault is it bec the cop just gave us a driver exchange report and he said we can pick up the report that he did in two days and the person didnt have a valid insurance card he didnt give any tickets to no one so do i have to wait to see the report to see who fault it was

No idea who's fault it was as you give very little details. Did the other car drop out of the sky? Where were you located? If you were parked on the side of the road when she hit you, why does she feel you were at fault? I cannot even guess as you mention nothing about her vehicle's position or what she was doing at the time of the loss.

Most likely her carrier will take her side and deny your claim and your carrier will take your side and deny her claim.

Correction... if she did not have a valid insurance card then there is a 99.99999999999% chance that she does not have insurance. You'd either need to file under your own collision coverage (I doubt you have UMPD) or file suit against the other person and show a judge that she was at fault.

The police report is probably only going to have each person's version of what happened on it. The officer won't assign liability and even if he did, it would only be his opinion.

her right side bumper and light was messed up she was comming down the street her right side hit the corner of my left side bumper we was in delaware but in jersey the cops make the decision right there so do we both get a court date to decide who fault it is or we have to battle it out wit the insurance companies bec he didnt give her no ticket for not showing a valid insurance but he seen where the glass was broken and everything he told me to make sure i get a pic of it i dont know de is differnt from nj im call the records department and ask them how it goes

In my opinion it doesn't matters about the fault whosoever may have done between you two, but if the insurance agent comes to analyze the car and if you have a valid insurance, then surely you will get some recovery through your vehicle's insurance.
