Hi, I had about an inch of water in my car from Sandy. I called the insurance company. I Have allstate. About a week later, they called me back saying that they want to call my car a total loss because of the water damage. It was not inspected or anything. What should i Do?

Was the car outside? If so, I'm betting they inspected it. Call them and ask.

That’s really strange. No car insurance company can total your car without inspection. Ask them to take a look at it first. If you want, take your car to a body shop to get an estimate cost to fix the damages.
