ssdi backpay.
I received my ssdi award letter. I know my first check will come on February 13, 2013. I have backpay coming but i dont know when. does anybody know how long it takes for that backpay check to arrive after getting your first ssdi check?

It’s hard to say actually. Usually claimants are supposed to get their back-pay within 60 days of approval. However, in reality, the time limit varies. Some get the installment within months, while others may have to wait for years.

As replied to in a different thread, the February 13 check will probably include all money owed in arrears. SSDI checks are normally written on the first day of the month, so anything that comes on a different day is specially processed.
