No citation given at scene...does that mean I'm clear?

I do not know if this depends on which state you are in, but I was in an accident where I was found liable. I was taken to the hospital and released. The accident took place 11 days ago and the police report was available 4 days later. I was never cited for anything. Does this mean that if there was an investigation and the report is finished I should be ok? Or could I still be cited? I thought that most citations aregiven at the scene? I also went to the police station the next day to pick up paperwork and no citation was given to me at that time.

If you haven't received a citation by now, you probably won't. What do you mean by "in the clear"? You're still at fault for the collision.

A citation would/could mean points on my license. Thats what I meant by being "in the clear".

Who is AMD71? But anyway, that is correct. A citation would and could put points on my license so thats why I was questioning it.

If you don't receive a citation, you have nothing to worry about.
