I HAVE A 2005 CHEV CAVILER THAT WAS IN A TORNADO AND WAS A TOTAL LOSS CLAIMED THE HOOD, FINDER, AND GLASS WAS BLOWNED OUT AND ALSO HAIL DAMAGE THE INSURANCE COMP SOLD IT BACK TO ME AND I HAD IT ALL FIXED UP. EVEN A PAINT JOB. WHEN I WENT TO RENEW MY TAG I WAS TOLD I NEED TO SURENDER MY TITLE AND I COULDNT GET A TAG AND I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO EVEN DRIVE IT ON THE STREET. HOW CAN I GET A TITLE SINCE THIS CAR WASNT WRECKED?

Most likely it has a salvage title (you should have been mailed one). If that is the case you will need to speak to the DMV about this. As I understand it, they will need to inspect the vehicle repairs and make sure it's safe to drive.
