There seems to be discrepancy with the rental car company & my insurance company regarding who is going to pay some of the medical bills.
Would i be able to negotiate with the at-fault drivers insurance while the medical bills get sorted it?

if the medical bills are 20K and both rental and my insurance have enough to cover it but both seems to want the other to do so.
So should pay it?

You still don't provide any details, just dollar amounts. Who was at fault for the [apparent] collision and bodily injuries? A car rental agency or a driver? What insurance is being discussed? Health insurance or auto insurance?

i was not at-fault and i was in a rental car. I purchase auto rental insurance during my trip plus I have my own auto personal insurance.
The problem is who should pay my medical bills.
