I recently passed the driving test and got my license in my dad’s car. He gave me permission to drive it all the time. But if something unfortunate happens during the drive, I’d get into trouble since I’m not covered. His car is covered but I’m not. Even we don’t live in the same address. Please tell me what to do. Thanks!

You need to do one of two things:
1) Obtain a named non-owner auto policy, which would cover you when you drive any vehicle
2) Be added as a named driver on your father's auto policy. (Because you do not live at the same address, his insurance company may no allow this. If so, see #1 above)
