With my present company, I was paying into an insurance plan. I was scheduled for surgery and when my insurance was checked, was told insurance was cancelled because of late payments. It is imperative that I have this surgery because a tumor is pressing on my spine. Without this surgery, within a few weeks I will not be able to walk. What can I do? PLEASE HELP!

How far behind in your insurance are you? Typically you have XX amount of days (depending upon State and Insurance company) before the Health Ins. Company can terminate your policy.

You said you were paying..and it thats an error on the part of the company to check it...then the best thing would be to consult your broker ! May be someone else would be suggesting you another option ! Lets hope for the best. ...and till then take care.
