With my present company, I was paying into an insurance plan. I was scheduled for surgery and when my insurance was checked, was told insurance was cancelled because of late payments. It is imperative that I have this surgery because a tumor is pressing on my spine. Without this surgery, within a few weeks I will not be able to walk. What can I do? How far behind in your insurance are you? Typically you have XX amount of days (depending upon State and Insurance company) before the Health Ins. Company can terminate your policy.
