Hold you responsible for what? You don't mention this. A lien holder holding you responsible for the loan on the vehicle... someone else holding you responsible for possible property damage caused while the vehicle was stolen... responsible for the National debt, etc.?

I think that you need to explain more about the situation involving the loss. But I will attempt you answer your question the best I can with your limited information. 1"If I just bought vehicle and didn't register" (it) . A: Why wasn't it registered ? Where did you park the car that doesn't require a valid license plate on it ? Also I am sure that the old registered owner ( who the police can find by VIN #) I am sure this person has a copy of the Bill of Sale that he will be more than happy to show this to his insurance company and the police so their not held responsible for the other parties damages. 2 and was in accident, can they hold me responsible. A: Again please see above. 3 It was stolen and got wrecked. A: Believe it or not but how was the car stolen where you car jacked while driving it NO. Was the car hot-wired and removed from your property with-out your knowledge? NO. Did you drive it to 7-11 to get Milk and leave the keys in the car while you where "only inside for a minute"? YES you can be held labial for the property damages that is cause it is called implied consent even though you didn't tell the thief to take it you did nothing to stop it either IE left your keys in the car running. Did you loan this car to a " Friend " and they didn't return it at the agreed upon time? Again the answer is the same as above YES implied consent you offered the keys to the person and when you loan your car you accept responsibility for anything that person does with your car it is your car the driver is a Secondary party to this

If I just bought vehicle and didn't register and . . .

How did you buy a vehicle without registering it with the DMV. Or are you talking about insuring it?

The problem with vague posts such as yours is that you force the rest of us to try to figure out what was going through your brain at the time.

If you had comprehensive and collision coverage on any other vehicle at the time you purchased the vehicle described above, then you have limited coverage for the new vehicle. But you are required to notify the insurance company and pay the additional premium ASAP.

As for responsibility, again, we have no idea what you are asking about. As tcope has said, responsibility for the loan, responsibility for a collision, responsibility for ???

At this point, the answer is YES -- you bought it and it's your responsibility.
