My Nephew who was an abandon child since the age of 8 mos ..he is now 22 yrs old...I took him him and was his Legal guardian/Fostercare provider since 1994 and that is how long i had the policy...when he turned 21, the ins co..sent grown-up police ins forms for us to fill out...we did ,,we signed it and made me beneficiary as I always was and mailed it back ..I have been making automatic payments from my banking acct since 1996..Now he is decease and I call to file a claim and the Ins co. is telling me they have never received our forms and regardless of me paying the policy for over 20 yrs..that his abandon parents will get the claim..can you please give me advice

Did you ever receive an acknowledgment from the insurance company that they received the paperwork?Did you ever contact the insurance company to see if they received the paperwork?
Did you even send the paperwork via Certified Mail with Return Receipt to prove that the mail was delivered to the insurance company?
Do you even have a copy of the paperwork you sent to the insurance company?
If you have any of these things, I would be interested in helping you.
