Auto Insurance company found me guilty of an accident because the VA State Trooper lied on the police report and stated he had and eye witness that stated I ran a red light but that was a lie. He did not have and eye witness. Because of the lies on the report my insurance company found me guilty and paid the other persons claims before I ever went to court. When I did go to court the Lawyer was able to prove the officer had made huge mistakes and was able to get the Trooper to come to court and admit his mistakes. Sadly though it was to late and my insurance company refused to change anything on the report or correct the mistakes made and I am now being sued for 1.2 million dollars for and accident I was found innocent of but still stand guilty. My life has been a living nightmare ever sense because of injuries I got because of the accident and am trying to raise 2 of my grandchildren. Life for me is at times unbearable for I can no longer take any medications for pain due to a bacterial stomach infection that may cost me my life in the end?? Please let me know if you can help me or if you can suggest a way for me to get some justice for all the wrong doings that has taken place... Thank you for reading...

Your carrier should be defending you in this matter, correct? If so, than it appears that they only paid the property damage claim.
If you were injured, simply find an attorney to take you case and pursue the other person for payment (i.e. sue the other person to collect). You have even stated that you _have_ an attorney so why are you not doing this?
