Yes you can add your family members in your auto insurance policy possibly who can drive your car. They may be parents, stepfamily members, foster children, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, children, and in-laws.

Normally, whoever is driving your car with your permission is covered under the policy. It is a good move to enlist all the people in you policy who are likely to drive your car on a regular basis.

It is good to have your family members listed in the policy. Anyone having a license can drive the vehicle.

As Cyrus correctly listed all the people you can include in your policy. But it can cost you more to insure a family member with a spotty driving record. Therefore, you can always exclude those members from your policy.

This all depends on how often you plan on somebody else driving your car. If you will have another licensed driver driving your car once every 6 months then there is no need to add them to your policy, because then they get taken into the rating.

Easy answer: You can loan your car to anybody with a license so long as they are not specifically excluded from driving your car. And then, if they wreck your car or cause damage to somebody else, then it is your responsibility.

If you don't know yet who will also drive your car fromyour family you can write then later. You can write down up to 5 people, with driver's experience not less then 3 years (without additional payment)

it would be good to frequently add the names of your friends and family who drive your car. whoever has your permission to drive your car is covered under your insurance.

yes. you can add the names of your family members in your auto policy. in fact, you should do that, because they would then be covered should an accident occur while they're in the car.

furthermore, you should include people who often drive your car, like friends or relatives. of course, adding these people may result in an increase in the cost of the policy.
