I'm guessing they're talking about Life Insurance Company of India. They can take a 20% of premium deduction from income tax, but the OP needs to provide more information. There's an income tax calculator for lic, but I don't think I'm allowed to link to it from here.

You can link to sites that are government sites, organizational sites, education institutes, etc as mentioned in the TOS.
If the moderators feel that any link is flouting the norms it would be taken care of, dont worry. Anything that would help others is always welcome in the forums.
