Well, the logical question is did you ask her? Or other family members? Does she have a surviving spouse, children? They would come ahead of you unless you have reason to believe you are the beneficiary. Is she still living? Who is in charge of her affairs?

Sure Lori, there isn't enough information in the post to suggest any specific course of action.
