by DADUMMY52 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 12:59 am

i have always carried stacked insurance on my vehicle insurance because i always had 3 or 4 people on at one time. one of my agents told me it would pay for me to carry it if i was ever in an accident. does anyone know the difference?

Hey, the last time I read about stacked insurance coverage, I learnt that you'd be entitled to receive a combined amount out of all your UM or UIM coverages for all those cars which are enlisted with your policy, in case you meet up with any UM or UIM loss. I guess this informations gotta give up some idea atleast. :)

Hi all!

Lemme explain a bit of it now!
Suppose you have a stacked insurance UM or UIM coverage worth $50,000 & have three cars covered through your policy, then under the circumstances you'd be entitled to receive $ (50,000X3)=$1,50,000 under your coverage. I believe thats understandable now.

Well yes, you need to carefully study & compare your stacked & non-stacked coverages while you are applying for both. You should also remember that the premiums that you ought to pay for your stacked insurance coverages are bound to be more than those of your non stacked ones. I'm sure you'd get that its owing to the treble benefit factor that this rising cost is due.
Looking forward to more participations from you. I wish you throw some light upon the problems of other members as well, in case you get to identify any of the problems over here :)

I have got some information (at the following url) that might seem interesting to you all!

my stacked insurance premiums are almost as cheap as regular coverage. and i cant see any flaws in the policy. i guess if i didnt have it id get in a wreck but thats all up to chance i think ill just keep it to be on the safe side.

I think that you are better off having stacked insurance if you have more than one vehicle, we have two and the one sits a lot. I am in the process of revising my policy, one of the things I will do is go from non stacking to stacking. It just makes sense.
