Don't know about that...as it's a special line...you will need to find an agent that sells that type of coverage...hopefully an agent will pop in on this thread and provide more information.

Just let me say one thing, travel insurance does NOT cover skiing accidents. Many have learned that the hard way, so you get off easy.

That's pretty much the most dangerous thing about skiing, so be sure to get a policy that covers skiing accidents.

Even if you find a policy that covers skiing, be sure that the premiums are not likely to be of the car insurance types. This is due to the frequent nature of such accidents (owing to the dangerous track) as also the lack of protective measures associated with such a journey!

Don't sound too good, maybe skiing is not a good idea, huh?

Unless you fork out for lessons and learn to control your bursts of testosterone. I can ski quite well myself, but I much prefer snowboarding.

well, you could do some research online for special policies that offer coverage for accidents during skiing. i'm not sure about this field, but you could call up your insurance company and inquire information about suitable insurance coverage during the trip.

edit: i realised that this was posted in 2008. i suppose your son is probably back from the trip already. no idea who was bumping old threads.
