we have registered and taken new insurance company policy for workers compensation by the time our last Insurance policy we given intimation for one of workers disablity claim. hoe can we claim trough the new insurance company for our worker

This one didn't quite explain to me whether your policy got shifted to your new co. automatically..or is it that you'd cancelled the earlier one & then applied for the latter.

hi thats quite true! the statement was not quite convincing to me, do you mean to say that you had intimated the earlier insurer about this disability & soon after you got converted to this one ?

Hi Global International,

I don't see any reason, as to why your current insurer would cover a disability event prior to your applying to this one (unless ofcrs it talks about a pre-conditioned cover). Go through your policy descriptions thoroughly please!

Shouldn't the current claim stay with the company that you had regardless if you have changed over? I would think even if you switched from company to company rather by choice or not that the old claim would stay with the initial company until it was completed or closed out. Companies don't usually take on existing claims, why would they want to be liable for another companies payment, see what I mean, that would not be smart business at all.
