Hi...thanks for posting on the fourm. GOSH!!.........how can the OTHER driver sue YOU if the accident was HIS/HER fault? Apparently because they were "denied any claims" for his.her car? ( Just talking 'outloud' here). Well.......just wanna say I don't know much about the Insurance field. However.......lots of people, here, do. Someone will be here to answer your questions and give you help...........Hang in there.

Guest,

You state [in part]

""I CHECKED FOR TRAFFIC ONCOMING AND IT WAS CLEAR TO MY KNOWLEDGE AND PROCEEDED TO MAKE A U-TURN WHEN BOOM I WAS HIT BY AN ONCOMING VEHICLE ON...""

Where did the oncoming automobile come from??

Did you look and not see it, and then proceed to turn in front of them?? Causing them to strike the rear of their auto.

Were you making a 'U'-turn or a 'K' -turn? [a 'K' turn would involve your needing to back up once, and take a bit longer to complete the turn]

Just trying to picture in my mind what happened.

Sorry OP but from your discription sounds to me like your carrier made a mistake and you were the greater percentage at fault...that is of no consequence now...what you need to do is IMMEDIATELY get the suit papers to your carrier and they will handle it from there, including a defense attorney for you...do not delay or you could/likely would get stuck with this entire thing...get those suit papers in your adjusters hands TODAY.
