Kimberly, I have A LOT of problems with your scenrio.....

one of my church memebers reffered me to an attorney

Sorry, but IMO it is very concerning that this is going on in church (any church) and the referal was CLEARLY to an attorney with little or no character....

i went to the dr,she wanted me to go to.i have a soft tissue injury,

ANY attorney that refers a client to 'their doctor' (IMO) is a low life ambulance chaser, I won't even go into the ethics they should be plainly clear and obvious...further more, ANY one that goes to an attorney BEFORE going to the doctor and in fact receives a referal from the attorney and goes to and treats with the doctor recommended by the attorney for a 'soft tissue' injury should be happy with a buck and half....  :x

offered a settlement of 4,2500.00on top of that she has to get her third out.can you please help me.is she trying to cheat me,

gosh what would give you the impression that your attorney and his/her doctor buddy could possibly be cheating you... :? I'd say the attorney or the adjuster couldn't possibly be cheating you anymore than you are cheating the insurance company, the gal that hit you or the universe in general..

what is the highest amount i can get from a soft tissue injury claim

I don't know maybe a 'ga-zillion' bucks....

i really need some advice

You sure do but not about this claim...IMO accept the offer, and be damn glad they are paying you a dime...I'm sorry but this type of out and out open fraud just really ticks me off... :x

An attorney having someone go to a doctor they recommend to me means that the person was not seeking medical treatment at the time and the attorney knows that this won't pay much... so they have the person go to a doctor they know will recommend treatment. Unethical yes... but it happens all of the time and almost all attorneys do this.

OP, there is just no way for anyone to know if that is a good offer as so many factors come into plays. One is certainly your diagnosis and the amount of treatment... neither are mentioned here.

It's important to _seek_ the service of a good attorney. In this case you neither sought and it sounds like this may not be a very good attorney. But I don't know that for a fact... he might be very good.

But the fact still remains that there is not enough (really no) information post to even begin to guess at a good settlement amount.
