I now h   The damaged occured on the 11th of April and the mortgage company continues to tell me they don't have any additional information for me. I've spoken to the insurance company on more than 2 occasions they have advised the settlement letter and check has been sent to the mortgage company and if I would like a copy of it to contact the mortgage company. Well mortgage company continues to say they have not been notified nor have they received a check! I just want my home fixed so i can move on... What's left to do? If your name is listed as insured call the insurance company, speak to a supervisor or manager and let them know since you are an "insured" that they are _required_ to provide you this information. It is like pulling teeth for the insured to get a policy, let alone any answers from the mortgage company. Keep hammering them both till one figures out what the other is doing. _________________ Can I say I’m working if I stare blankly at my computer all day?
