I want to let my grandson drive with me while he has his learners permit. Is he covered under my insurance as long as he is with me

1) You really need to ask your agent this question.
2) See number #1 again.
3) If he does not live with you and is an "occasional" driver (with a learners permit, he is), then most likely he would be considered an insured under your policy.
