| I went to get some work done to my car, the workers at the business damaged my car and admitted to the damage on my reciept...The corporate offcie of the buisness took responsibility of the damages and sent me a check which has the business i went to get an estimate from wrttien like (name of buisness/ my name) how can I get this check cashed? the business will not sign the check unless they do the work, however i want some place else to do the work. How can I get this particular check cashed? |

You can't, (this particular check that is)...contact the business office that issued the check and tell them you want them to stop pay on this check, or you'll return it to them whatever they want. And you want a new check reissued to you only. If they give you any trouble, tell them you want them to turn it in to their garage keepers liability insurance company, (they won't want to do that), or tell them to talk with their insurance company or their attorney, so they can be informed that they CANNOT designate where (or if) you have your vehicle repaired...They owe you for the damages period, it's none of their business or concern if the repairs are completed or not, or where....
