What Das was saying is that if your employer provides health coverage, (this is for the employee only)...then they most generally HAVE to accept the pre-existing condition after a certain time frame. | In the state of Michigan, Blue Cross Blue Shield is the carrier of last resort. Are the rates a bit higher? Absolutely, but not high enough to warrant not having coverage. What they do not cover is cosmetic surgery with the exception of breast reconstruction due to cancer. |
