I am a college student home for the summer. I was on my way to my first job training as a salesperson. As I was in route, a gentleman ran a stop sign and hit my car, totalling it. 6 sessions of PT followed. Insurance company accepted liability for medical but not anything for "loss wages" because obviously, they said since I never worked, they can't document payment loss. But, if their insured caused the accident, are they not laible for my "loss of work" and "possible" loss wages? Should I sue the driver?

Here is the million dollar question... did you loose wages/income? If you cannot show that you did... then you can't prove you suffered this type of loss and you probably won't be paid for it.

For your "loss wages"? I'd not recommend it unless you can prove to judge that you suffered this type of loss. You would need to pay court costs and the other insurance is going to provide a defense to their insured.
