I'm going for a biopsy tomorrow and was wondering if my health insurance can just decided to cancel my policy?

One of the things you are paying for when you have long term health insurance is the right to renew it even if you have medical issues. This is one of the reasons that short-term coverage is so inexpensive. As a general rule, you insurance company cannot cancel your policy unless they cancel all policies in your geographic area (usually your state). This is subject to the issues that Lori mentioned. However, things can be a bit different if you've just applied for it and already knew about this biopsy during your application process. It would certainly signify a lie!
