What is the difference b/n private and commercial vehicle

Posted: Thu Aug 27, 2009 11:02 pm   Post subject:    There are many differences.... to many to list here. Also, even personal and commercial policies differ from company to company. Some differences that come to mind.... Business Auto Policies (BAP) use symbols for coverage. For example, you will almost always find Symbol 1 for liability which is "Any Auto". There are symbols for owned autos only, scheduled autos only, hire autos, etc. The definition of an "insured" is much broader on the BAP. The BAP provides coverage for vehicles used in the scope of your employment.
