| Hi all,I am a life and health agent in texas, new to insurance due to recent graduation. I work for a large company and am doing a lot of self training, so I am very happy to find a online community to share ideas with and use as a resource for future success.Brandon |

Hi CopyBoy,
It's nice to have someone like you on board. It's good to know that you're working as a captive agent.
Would you like to share with us more on your self-training ways?

I work with the Willis of Texas in San Antonio office as a Junior Producer. I am training with carriers on how to sell their products and use it to get in the door to new clients. I trained with "compliance check" which was a great learning tool. But for the most part, I am cold calling and walking through business parks and trying to get infront of as many people as I can see. Sure, being new I have stumbled a little, but through my falls, I have found many ways of beating the Newby Battle!
