Business has kind of been a double edged sword for over two years in the health lines. Number of sales have been up but a lot of the repeat business has dropped and a lot of new customers are just purchasing insurance while between jobs, meaning more initial advances but fewer renewals. I guess it evens out except it is more work to get those new clients signed up than it was to keep current clients happy. Most of my earlier clients were small biz owners who are now just barely able to stay afloat (if that). Medicare supplements are steady, especially after many medicare advantage plans left smaller towns. |
