We're thinking of renting an RV for our vacations. We've been asked to apply for RV rental insurance. Any feed back would be appreciated! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

Sorry I'm not sure what you are asking...you'll need to contact some agents and/or companys and get quotes, and chose the one that best suits you. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | I would think that renting an RV from a company would be included in a rental package. A majority of people who own and rent their RV have rental agreements as part of their policy that extend to those they rent to. |

| We'd need to understand one important thing over here- the renters don't use such vehicles on a daily basis. You may inquire with your auto insurance carrier and find out whether you may add coverage towards an RV. In the event someone rents it, you may request your regular carrier to cover the RV through an endorsement. |

| Renters would often buy such coverage from their rental co. RV rental insurance may vary with different carriers. Some policies might offer a limited coverage or may bear more complicated terms and conditions. |

| RV rental insurance provides coverage to the renter against the damages of the car or if the car causes damage to some other property, making your vacation worry-free. It generally covers all the road related damages. But it does not provide coverage for any interior damages. However, terms and conditions vary from one carrier to another. You must be sure of the extent of coverage provided before you buy the policy. |

Will it also not cover any interior damage that has been caused by an accident? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

As far as I know RV rental insurance typically does not cover interior damages that may be caused to furniture or any appliances unless it has been caused by a driving accident.

I guess this happens if you are buying RV insurance from your auto insurer. However, if you buy this insurance from rental companies you may get a fair insurance plan that takes care of your needs for such insurance. Generally it is simpler if you obtain these plans from the rental company rather than your existing insurer. You are also likely to get a more comprehensive plan this way. _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |

Depends on the type of rental insurance. The interior of these units are usually the most expensive portion. |

Do you mean some rental insurance policies may cover for the interior damages? If you'd tell us more about such types of rental policies it might just help a lot of community friends. |

Make sure you have a valid driver's license in order to qualify for a rental policy covering an RV. The age criteria for such insurance application may differ from one state to another. _________________ Insuranceguy.ampminsure.org |

I would think that when renting an RV, coverage would be interior and exterior. I can't imagine the owner of the RV would allow someone to rent it without that kind of protection. These vehicles are huge investments. |
