Inventory Your Home Possessions

Keeping Receipts, Photos and Log is Essential

In 2008 a survey was conducted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners that showed that 48 percent of consumers did not inventory their possessions.

Being proactive in preparing an inventory list of all of your belongings is essential in the event of a fire, flood or other disaster. To ensure that your insurance company is reimbursing you for the value of your property, a detailed inventory must be presented.

Insurance auto auction.

I want to buy a used 2011 vehicle now with 8,000 miles. The seller told me that it was bought at an insurance auction. The car’s title is also clear. After conducting an autocheck, I got to confirm these data - no thefts, no accidents, single owner, clear title, no repossession, and so on. So, what is the reason for the car ending up at an insurance auto auction?

False DUI and overspeeding charges.

They pulled me over and arrested me on charges that I did not do, for overspeeding and drunken driving, and seized my car. They released me after two days in custody and did not file any charges against me. I was informed that my licensed has been revoked and my car will be with them for 30 days. Isn’t it necessary for them to have a valid reason for doing these things to me? I was never involved in any kind of brawl with the administration, except for this. How do I get out of this mess? I am from Middleton, Idaho.

I am a 19 year old boy. At the age of 17, I met with an accident on 11th December 2012. This was my first accident ever and it was with a motorcycle. Interestingly, there was no bodily coverage on the car and the pillion rider was injured in the incident. That person’s insurance company had sent us a mail after more than 40 days and told us that it cost $4000 to treat the injured at a hospital. However, after about another 20-25 days later, we received another mail stating the hospital bill of the injured person amounted to $10500.

I thought I would start a new thread for this topic.

I am in insurance hell. 3rd Party insurance Claim. FL. Autosource is low balling and dragging it out. This is based on advertised sales, as well as, KBB, NADA, TMV, Automotive, Motor Trend. I have the information ready, but I have not even gotten to that part of the negotiation.

I am stuck on asking questions and requesting documentation from the valuation report.

My 1969 VW Type III Squareback front skirt, driver's side fender, and front hood were damaged after the car skidded from wet brakes after going through water accumulation from rainfall. The policeman at the scene yanked my driver's side door open against my wishes and caused door damage by doing that, when he could have protected me and the car by allowing me safely to enter the passenger side to get the necessary papers for him to do his report. I had earlier exited the passenger side to avoid damage to that driver's side door, trying to keep the damage to a minimum.

Auto insurance policy

Would adding another car to my existing policy increase the rates on other cars? I’m not so much aware of this but my stepmother keeps on denying as according to her this will make her rate ‘GO UP’. Is this true? If yes, could anyone explain why?

Non reportable claim injury..

I was recently in a car accident. We were waiting for a car to make a left turn and we were hit from behind. The impact caused me to be thrown forward. My seat belt did not catch me immediately so I was thrown pretty hard and almost hit the dash. There was no air bags. I started hyperventilating. I had an anxiety attack and it was still going on when the paramedics got their. I opted to ride to the hospital in the ambulance because my lower back was hurting. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1998 but I have been in remission for several years and on no prescription medicines any more.

I live in Kansas, I drive a 1999 Acura Integra, and my insurance is through American Family.

My car was totaled once a few years I kept it (bought back from insurance and everything needed to have it re-registered with the salvage title. Well I was in another accident again last night. And still want to keep the car, would I be able to buy it back after an estimate was done? What would the process be?
