i got into car accident om may 1,10 i was driving n. bound she t-bone my car now my car is not drivable, called the cops she got cited for failing to yield. my car is only cover liability ins. i bet she got a full coverage since shes only 17 yrs old n its under her dad policy there insurance are amerprise i never heard of them before, how long does it take to process the claim, ive been calling the adjuster what's the update till now she keep saying i still need to talk to the witnesses n i fax all the police report.
as for my car i declare a total loss |

The other adjuster needs to complete their investigation before accepting liability. If this takes getting the PR and speaking to witnesses then this is going to slow down the handling of the claim. You could pick up a copy of the report locally and fax/email it to the adjuster. That should speed up the process. After that, I can't imagine it should take longer then a few days to speak to any witnesses.
If your vehicle is not drivable then the other carrier owes you Loss of Use from the date of the accident (valued around $20-$35/day). |
