| A friend of mine was a very successful agent, but after going through a divorce he took some time to handle that and when he came back over 75% of his clients were taken by his business partner. What can he do? |

| Maybe he could call up his clients and invite them to come back to him. The clients may have gotten scared if he was gone for a long period of time. They may also have had to deal with the other partner and decided they wanted to do their business with them. |

I'm not sure if there is any legal method to stop the partner from taking the business away from the other partner. I tend to agree with firey that the clients might have got worried when their agent wasn't available fro longer time. The partners need to sort the matter out through discussions.
Anyways, he might need to call up his clients and let them know that he is back and is already to take care of their needs henceforth. If he had been good with his clients they might turn back to him once again.
Just wait, the other members will soon be along with their suggestions. |

Oh, this is an ugly practice that I have seen many times. My suggestion would be to start with the policy holders. Show them you care enough about servicing them and let them in on what's going on. I'm sure people will stand by your side. _________________ Please feel free to go to my website at www.markcolbert.com or, if you have a specific question, you can email me directly. fireyone is right. He should call his clients on priority basis. To be frank there is a very little margin that they might respond to his calls. If his business partner is not providing them good service there is a chance that they will give your friend a positive response.
But from my point of view your friend should start looking for new clinets There is no point in wasting his valuable time. |
