Will my premium go up?

even though I paid it by myself? For example, somehow my ins. company know about the accident; i.e., via the auto shop or the car lease company?

Hi there...I think much of your premium hikes would depend on whether or to what extent you were at fault in this accident. If you think its possible for you to share the matter in more details, I think its gonna help us understand exactly what had happened. If you were clearly at-fault under an avoidable circumstance..then I believe it could lead to a hike. Roddick

Yes, I mean what if my agent know about it? Will that agent tell the adjuster (or claim department)? Thank you

Hi, your policy rate may not go up if you settle for the accident out-of-pocket. However, if you are in an at-fault accident it'll go into your record and the insurance might come to know about it while reviewing your records for the policy renewal.

That Jeorge doesn't mean though, that if she pays a claim out of pocket never reports it, that they have any right at all to rate her up...they don't even have the correct information and hearsay, won't play, for a rate increase...and really i'm sure her agent as better things to do...

I think the programs that companies offer can save you some extra money which can add up.

I would like to put my '2 cents' into this one, however.....can we have some more details on the accident, TTIM? A DUI, did you rearend someone, etc? I'm not 'putting you down'......I'm just trying to get the facts. If the facts WERE 'layed out there', maybe I missed it.
