i had someone move into my home to help take care of my dying wife. that person got into an accident in their own vehicle on their own insurance policy. Can they cancelle my insurance even though this person was not on my policy and was not driving my car, but living in my home?

Guess I won't have to worry about that one. I have mine automatically deducted from my checking so I never accidently forget to pay it plus the extra discount they throw in there. Always trying to save a few cents. lol

Save the postage and the worry.

That would about cover it. Late/Non payment. We give you plenty of chances to pay after your "late" date.

Paying them automatically (bank bill pay, deduction from account, etc) is the best way to go. Insurance is one thing you don't want to play with.

Amen Life. I am liking you more and more. I have my auto deducted. Never can be too sure in this world and as you said insurance is definatley something you do not want to go with out, If you look back and read some of the posts anyone can see why this statement is soo true. I would like to add a little something else. Even though being insured means alot you should always check to see that you are not underinsured. After an accident that I had zero percent fault in I started to come here and learned I myself was underinsured. I fixed that in a jiffy!

Is that a request life? What reasons would a insurance company have for not renewing a policy? If you have a good record and no accidents that were your fault could they not renew you?

It certainly would clear things up. I have never heard of a company canceling a policy because of that scenario. There would be no reason for his/her insurance company to even know about it.

So hush should have maybe been the word in this scenario. I really wish the original poster would stop back and let us know a little more. My curiosity is piqued.
