Do adjusters respond to a letter from an attorney?

When adjusters get that package thing from an attorney with documents, photos and other papers and etc. How long does it usually state in the letter to respond? Do adjusters really respond by or on the date? How do they respond by phone, email, letter or fax?

A demand package is being sent out for $300k with a requested response for 30 days, it is a serious claim pertaining to an eye injury resulting in surgery over the past 11 months. The ins; investigator said whatever the claimant wanted he would take care of. Would they then respond within the 30 days

Take what you think the adjuster will pay and add up 33%. This is how much you are paying your attorney. Don't you think for that kind of money you'd be able to have a conversation with him about this?

What I can tell you is that your own PIP should have paid $15,000 so the adjuster _should_ take his offer and reduce it by $15,000 as it's not their drivers fault you were driving illegally and without the required $15,000 in PIP. That is, your PIP would have paid the first $15,000 in medical expense with no right of recovery. Since it's required, you can't just pass on your fault in not having it along to the other driver.

Chipper3000 admits to having no insurance, so tcope is correct in stating that whatever amount Chipper believes his attorney will get for him should lawfully be reduced by the amount of coverage an insured driver would have had -- it's called an "offset". So if Chipper's legitimate medical expenses come to $50,000, as his attorney is claiming, then the most Chipper can get in court is $35,000. The attorney will take about $11,500, leaving Chipper with less than $24,000. Because he was not insured, Chipper cannot claim damages for "pain and suffering".

But I don't think Chipper even has $50,000 in medical expenses. So his attorney is blowing a lot of useless smoke.

As Brain injury lawyers, we use all the resources available to represent individuals who have sustained brain injury trauma or closed head injury. A traumatic brain injury can simply be defined as an injury to the brain caused by trauma to the head.

You need to accept the offer and sign a release. Has that been done?

You need to accept the offer and sign a release.

By doing this, you waive your right to sue the at fault party for your damages.

I was hit on august 17th by a van that was cut off by a car that ran a red light I was sitting in a left turn lane . She got a ticket for cutting the van off into me. This caused me to soft tissue injuries to my neck area. During this time I found out I had torn my bicep tendon and tear in rotator cuff on left shoulder same side of vechical that I was hit on. I had 43000 dollars of doctors bills and 9000 of lost waves. What should the claim be and how much is it worth and how long to settle for a claim like this.
