| It wouldn't make much sense for an agency to insure you if you can not drive legally. |

Tinamarie,
It depends. Are you planning to get it renewed? Do you need the coverage to get it renewed? Or do you plan to drive with it expired?
Since you are asking where you can get coverage, I am going to go out on a limb and assume that you do not have insurance currently. In that case, your best bet is to go to the Yellow Pages and find one of the big bold display ads that say something like, "Driving record problems? NO PROBLEM!" These are usually nonstandard (high-risk) agents, and they are the most likely to have an option for you.
Still, I am curious ... why are you not getting your license renewed? I am just trying to answer your question, but I have to remind you that it is illegal to drive without a valid license, and in most states it is illegal to drive without insurance. _________________ Christy P.

Well, most of the insurers, in fact all of them, would require you to have a valid driving license in order to get coverage. However, if you are planning to renew the license shortly, which is to be done within the period of 30 to 45 business days, the insurer may agree on covering you, however, with the condition that you’d get the license renewed.
Thanks,

Why would someone need insurance when he can't drive legally? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

TINAMARIE I think getting your license renewed will be a good idea if you want to drive hassle free and get insurance too. _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |
