Hi All!
I woke up this morning and the side of my car got side swiped parked right in front of my house! Both side doors and the side of the back bumper are all scratched up and a chunk of metal got pushed up on the door, hard to explain. No dents or anything but I'm estimating 1000K plus. Do you think Geico will raise my insurance if it wasn't my fault?
I have a clean record with them, two things though, just last week my wife got rear ended but it was the other drivers fault and he's insurance paid for everything but of course Geico was notified because they lay out the money then get reimbursed by the other insurance company. So not sure if that matters. Also, I submitted a similair claim about 2-3 years ago, someone hit me in a parking lot but I was grocery shopping so kind of the same situation. I have no luck let me tell you! Geico luckily covered everything and didn't raise my premiums. I'm hoping to have the same luck this time around, what are your thoughts?

I backed into a car. I was going about 3-5 miles per hour. I broke the headlight on the other car. It is the 2nd incident in the last 5 years. Will my premiums go up a lot? Or at all. I have been insured with my insurance company for the last 27 years.

There's no way to know what will happen to your premiums. Your insurance company will look at your driving record and make a determination. You can save a few dollars by taking a mature driver course if you're over age 55.
