Full of questions tonight

I am full of questions tonight. I was considering letting my brother move nack in with me for a short stay. I heard somewhere, don't remember where, that if he is under my roof and gets into an accident in a vehicle not owned by me that my insurance could still be sued since he resided at my address. I am finding this very hard to believe, especially if it wasn't a vehicle of mine that would be involved.

Seems like the only way to be safe now a days.

I had (he died three years ago) a very ''troubled'' younger brother as well so know the pain...just remember YOU cannot change anyone...and don't make the mistake of allowing ANYONE to disrupt YOUR family. (little friendly unsolicited advise)...

My brother came as close to dath as he ever will without dying. He overdosed and when the found him he was foaming at the mouth and died. they got him breathing again. You think he would have learned from that but still the drugs rule his life. I understand what you are saying about allowing someone to disrupt my families life. I have told him no to the moving in. I really don't need the extra set of problems when I have my own life to refigure out. Thank you for sharing with me your story. God Bless you.

Yes I believe I have. I also gave this alot of thought. I can't always be the "open door" I have sone some soul searching and it wasn't easy. I told my 19 year old who is going down the same path and the bro that my house can no longer be an option. I tried offering a hand up but they continued to use it as a hand out. It was sad to do this to my son but him being here only causes turmoil and he has to learn that work is a part of life.

''tough love'' has saved more kids, than 'wimp' parenting (IMO) hang in there honey...

I am hanging...and I really think with all that is going on I am doing pretty well. My hubby could disagree with me there but hey its been a long tough road and to still be sane I think would count for something...
