What is a targeted price for soft-tissue injuries?

I was in an auto accident in Dec.2008 and was injuried with back, neck, and eg injuries. I had to have therapy, no copay. Copay to the M.D. was made. I have just finished therapy. My car was repair and claim for car settled. I do not want to pay an attorney if I can process this claim myself.
I will have to sleep on a contour mattress to ease my sleeping pain and misery. They also want me to sleep with a contour pillow, all of which costs around $3000. They consider this soft-tissue injuries, what is a targeted range to ask for settlement? Thanks!

Your injury is a workers' compensation loss. You will be compensated according to state law.

You should get medical and other benefits under your state's Worker's Compensation insurance program. Regardless of who was at fault, you should have immediately informed your employer about the accident so that they could take necessary steps after consulting the insurance provider. For up-to-date information on workers' compensation in your state, contact your state's workers' compensation office.

Who knows... you don't mention anything about your actual injury, treatment, liability, medical expenses or location.

But it does sound to be like you just had a sore neck with little to no medical treatment.

Are you disabled? Did you lose time from work? Did you go to the Emergency Room? Have you been treated by an MD? What permanent injury have you suffered?

You are entitled to 100% of your legitimate medical expenses and lost time from work. Unless you are seriously disabled, that's about all you can expect, plus maybe a couple of hundred dollars for your trouble.

You did not find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
