Hi All,

Buying auto insurance nowadays will really cost a lot but there are still some ways to consider that could lessen the overall cost but still get the maximum coverage for your vehicle driving experience. The type and size of the car that you have is the first thing for you to consider in choosing a car insurance company. Most of the time the price of the car and its purpose will determine the premium – the amount of car insurance that you need to pay for the cost of insurance. So, if your car is smaller and you drive to the store and back it is likely your policy will be less than a bigger vehicle that is driven lots of miles.

One must read first the insurance policy and check the deductibles before purchasing any car insurance. Always remember to read the fine print of the auto insurance policy. What are the deductibles, what happens if you have a claim, and who else is permitted to drive your vehicle. Understand these things before buying the policy. If you think you are a safe driver, taking a few risks will cut the cost of your auto insurance. On the other hand if you are accident prone, cover yourself with a good car insurance policy.

The best advice I can give is to shop around for the best auto policy. If you have other insurance, like home owners insurance, many times insurance policies can be bundled. The more business you give an insurance agent the more likely you are to have a bargaining chip. Know the cost of auto insurance before purchasing the vehicle. If you know your costs before going into the auto purchase.then you will know whether the vehicle purchase is right for you. Drive safely.

Thanks,
Trevor.

It's good to know that my Bugatti is not going to cost as much to insure then my Chevy Tahoe.

Um.... don't I choose the deductible myself and isn't this chosen _before_ the policy is issued? So why would I need to see my unissued policy to know my deductible? You recommend buying a policy and then determining what the coverage will be????

I drank some expired milk last night. It was like 2 days past the expiration date. I did not even smell it first. So now my rates will be lower?I have no idea what that means.
