auto insurance collision deductible costs

Hi Everyone,

I just have a question for everyone. Right now the average American has only $620 in their Checking Account and Negative Savings. If you or someone on your insurance policy had an at fault accident today How would you pay for your auto insurance collision deductible?

Which option would you choose?

1) Use a high Interest Credit Card or Short Term loan

2) Beg for money From a Family member or Friend

3) Leave your car broken

4) Use what little money you have and try to make ends meet

I have been asking this question to a lot of people and wanted to see what people in other areas of the USA would do.

Thanks

Ryan

You know, there is always someone who tries to make it hard for others to protect themselves and they just feel the urgent to regurgitate all their "knowledge" (or lack thereof) onto the heads of people who are trying to learn or help teach others how to survive the economy. I just heard about CDRP today and I'm already sold on it. I sell insurance and do fairly well but when someone makes a statement, I hear what they have to say kindly. Speaking as a mother of 3 who have advanced well into their 20s and 1 who will be driving next year, at this point, a big deductible would be hard for us to produce AND if I had a $500 ded. and an $800 accident, I'd probably decide NOT to file a claim because my rates would sky rocket. The bigger ded. is an excellent idea for the folks who have common sense. And YES, I will be a CDRP assoc. by the end of next week.

Good luck with that. Why is it that a search of the CDRP scheme reads like a MLM smörgåsbord? Makes you wonder....
