Car Accident

My car was parked outside of my job and it was hit by a commercial heavy duty truck. My car is a total loss it is a 2001 Chevy Impala. Excellent condition before the accident. There was a police report made and the report won't be ready until Monday 10/27/08. I reported the accident to my insurance the same day as the accident and I'm waiting for the adjuster to call me. My question is I have already checked the cash value of the car which is 7,565.00 will I get this amount or will I get less, I checked it in the Blue book online. Also is the Insurance company going to rent me a car If I ask for it., and will I still kip paying insurance on my car even do I'm not driving it. How does this type of cases work? Your answer will be much appreciated

Good to hear Molly, enjoy your car shopping...hey one thing I forgot to mention the carrier owns you (in some form) the sales tax on the ACV, either in direct payment or a credit, in other words you won't be paying sales tax on that amount (the ACV)...be sure you have this...
