hi guysi have a car i have not got the insuance but now i have decided to sell that car.
So i want to know thatwould i be able to sell that cr without insurance?

| Yes, you just can't register or drive it without insurance. |

I guess you may...but there are a lot of other things that would be considered by the buyer before he takes it from you.
The buyer would always take a look at the record of the car on road. He'd see whether it was ever involved in any accident or to what extent it got repaired. Anyway, is it a new car?

Just curious.... why you hadn't had insurance on the car? Haven't you drove it all these time?
Was it a conscious decision to stay uninsured or you had troubles in obtaining coverage? |

Hi,
i think a person whoever is having car or any other vehicle must have got insurance of that as it is always a safe side you will never be in loss to do it.

| Oh, how did you do that? I think when someone decide to buy car they would but the car insurance. It is normal, and you can get no trouble later. But you are lucky and you didn't get any trouble. However when you sell it you will have a little trouble. Maybe you can choose a good guy to buy it. |

| You can off course sell your car without insurance but the buyer will have too many doubts in his mind before buying. |

| A similiar situation happened to me. After my accident ( this past June..) I was looking for cars. I found an ad, in the paper, of an individual seeling a car. I went to look at it. Right off the bat, the owner told me he din't have Insurance on the vehicle and hasn't for a while. I nevr asked him why, but,..that DID put up a 'red flag' for me. Usually...if you go by your 'gut feelings' about things, you will usually be right. |
