Hi guys
I actually hit some speed bumps and my bottom oil pan got broken. Within minutes, the engine also damaged. Will these damages be covered under collision coverage under the policy, please someone let me know...
Thanks

| Yep....it WOULD be covered, as TCOPE had said. However......(just curious here..) were you going over a speedbump at a fast rate of speed? OR.....would you have THAT much damage if you were going over the bump at a low speed? |

SD – some of those sneak up on you…. Really, I’m not being funny. Some of those are put in the strangest places and some seem a lot higher then they should be.
Would damages be covered under collision – yes a tcope stated. Is the cause of damages (to engine) going to be questioned – I would bet yes. |

| DASFUK......well, yeah,...makes sense. A few of them, that I've driven over, were higher than I thought, as well. I guess if you have a car that's low to the ground ( and some are lower than others), you COULD rip an Oil Pan off or do other damage. |

yep...all in agreement, collision coverage will handle it. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | Seriously!!.........I never knew that Collision would handle something like this. What about just Liability?..would it cover the 'Speed Bump' thing? |
