PLEASE HELP

First thing I can help with is recommending a new keyboard as your caps lock key appears to be stuck.... All caps are considered YELLING.

Next... have you asked then how they arrived at the value? If the used a 3rd party, asked them to send you a report so that you can review it. I don't know of any other way to know how they arrived at a value other then.... asking them.

Check NADA and see what the value it. As Lori always says, no one uses KBB. I think you will find NADA prices to be slightly lower the KBB.

Hi Debbie,

MY CADILLAC WAS CONSIDERED TOTALLED IT DOESN'T LOOK THAT BAD

Did you notice that the repair costs are almost 80% even when we count them upon the KBB value? So anything less than the KBB would consider it to be totalled.

WHERE DID THEY GET SUCH A CRAZY NUMBER ,THEY SAY IT WOULD TAKE $5572.87 TO REPAIR,AND DIDN'T GIVE OTHER ESTIMANTS,

What do you mean by these 'other estimates'? Did you talk to them about providing you with an estimation?

Hi DEBBIE, please clam down. I'd suggest you the same what Tcope has said, ask them to send you an estimate of the repair cost. As Steven has mentioned if the repair cost is around 80% of the ACV of the car the insurer would deem it as 'total'.

Now, were there prior damages to the vehicle? Prior damages may lower the value of the vehicle.

You may get the damage estimated by another bodyshop to confirm what the insurance company is suggesting is true.
